Seeking highly motivated MSc and PhD students to join the UXID Lab at Ontario Tech University. Our research explores the design of new AI-driven interaction techniques and innovative AI-enhanced information visualization across emerging platforms, including:
AI-powered wearable technologies and interactions
AI-personalized smartwatches and small-screen devices
Mobile and ubiquitous computing
Our work sits at the intersection of interaction design, information visualization, and human–AI interaction, with opportunities to publish at top venues such as ACM CHI, UIST, and MobileHCI.
If you are passionate about shaping the future of how humans interact with and experience digital content, I’d love to hear from you. Students with prior research experience, HCI background, AI expertise, experience with LLMs, and coding skills on mobile devices and smartwatches will have an advantage.
