Postdoctoral Researcher in Human-centered GeoAI and Geospatial Data Science

Excited to share that the GISense Lab at The University of Texas at Austin is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Human-centered GeoAI and Geospatial Data Science. 🔬 We aim to push the frontier of GeoAI by developing generative AI, vision-language models, diffusion models, and multimodal "World Models," and applying them to rich multi-source spatiotemporal data: street view imagery, soundscapes, and human behavioral data (EEG, eye-tracking, fMRI, human mobility). We hope to answer questions across environmental psychology, urban science, and public health to empower the understanding of human-environment relationships.

🧭 We are looking for a PhD (completed or near completion) in GIScience, Geography, Computer Science, Data Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.
