Postdoctoral Research Fellow and/or PhD student to join a project on AI-based assessment of fire potential forecasts to inform wildlife prevention and management, funded by the Joint Fire Science Program!

The project focuses on evaluating fire forecast products, integrating large environment and geospatial datasets, and developing advanced statistical and AI / ML models to better understand and predict fire outcomes.

We are looking for candidates with expertise in AI/ML, statistical modeling, geospatial/environmental data, and wildfire or climate-related applications.

Location: Boise State University, Boise, Idaho
Preferred start date: October 1 for PostDoc; January 1 for PhD student
