Summary

I am recruiting one PhD student to join my research group at the University of South Florida starting in Summer/Fall 2026. Research focuses on mechanics-based durability and monitoring of concrete.

𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴:
» BS or MS degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related field.
» Research experience or demonstrated interest in computational mechanics, fracture/damage modeling, interface mechanics, structural health monitoring, and durability of concrete.
» Experience with FEA tools, applied mathematics, MATLAB, or Python is a plus.
