Ali Behnood, Ph.D. research group at the University of Mississippi is looking for a highly motivated PhD student to join our team.

This position focuses on cutting-edge research at the intersection of:
---Physics-informed AI
---Infrastructure materials (asphalt & cementitious systems)
---Digital twins
---Uncertainty-aware prediction
---Climate resilience and sustainability

The selected candidate will work on developing next-generation, data-driven and physics-guided frameworks to enhance the performance, durability, and resilience of civil infrastructure systems.

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in:
---Civil Engineering, Materials, or related fields
---Data analytics / machine learning (preferred but not required)
---Programming skills (e.g., Python)
