📢 PhD Opportunity – University of Bologna & CNR-IRPI - Hydrology and AI

Looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate to join an exciting research project at the University of Bologna, funded by CNR-IRPI.
🔬 Research topic:
Development of innovative methodologies for estimating river discharge at the global scale by integrating observations from different satellite missions with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques.
The PhD project will focus on:
✅ Satellite-based river monitoring and hydrology
✅ Multi-mission Earth Observation data integration
✅ Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications
✅ Global-scale river discharge estimation

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of hydrology, remote sensing and AI, contributing to the development of next-generation methods for global river monitoring.
