PhD Opportunity | Food science, Materials science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Background

Seeking a PhD student to join my research group in Spring 2027 or Fall 2027. Applicants should have a background in food science, materials science, chemical engineering, chemistry, or a closely related field. Minimum requirements include meeting the University of Georgia’s English language proficiency requirements (see: https://grad.uga.edu/admissions/requirements/international-applications/english-language-proficiency-requirement/) and having a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold an MS degree earned within the past three years, or are on track to complete one before enrollment; have peer-reviewed publications and/or strong research experience; and demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
