PhD Opportunity: Flood Modeling and Management | Oklahoma State University

Recruiting a PhD student to join my research group in the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering at Oklahoma State University, starting fall 2026 or spring 2027. The preferred start date is Fall 2026. However, exceptionally qualified candidates who are available to begin in Spring 2027 may also be considered.

Preferred qualifications:
✔ M.S. in Civil Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources, or a related field
✔ Experience with HEC-RAS, SWMM, or other hydrologic and hydraulic models.
✔ Programming experience (Python preferred)
✔ Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Given the limited time before the Fall 2026 semester begins, preference will be given to applicants who are already residing in the United States or who have a valid U.S. visa and can begin studies by Fall 2026.
