Looking for a motivated and talented PhD student to join our team in the development of advanced polymer electrolytes for high-performance rechargeable batteries.

This exciting project will focus on the design and synthesis of novel polymer electrolytes to enable safer, more energy-dense batteries for next-generation energy storage systems. You will have the opportunity to work with leading researchers in polymer chemistry, electrochemistry, and materials science, and access state-of-the-art facilities at UQ.

Ion-conductive polymer materials
Solid-state and quasi-solid-state batteries
Battery safety and performance optimisation

💰 Scholarship: $36,400 per annum (2025 rate), tax-free; tuition fee waived
