PhD | Efficient Lithium Niobate on Insulator (LNOI) Supercontinuum down to visible| Physics |Engineering

This PhD project is based at RMIT University (Melbourne) as a part of our ARC Centre of Excellence in Optical Microcombs for Breakthrough Science (COMBS), in partnership with Menlo Systems.
 
This project will explore nonlinear photonics chips in lithium niobate for efficiently broadening the light emitted from a microcomb into an octave spanning frequency comb. The outcomes of this project will improve the size, cost and robustness of Menlo’s optical frequency combs expanding their uptake in  astronomy, spectroscopy and precision measurement.
