Multiple MSc/PhD positions in Computer Science - Guelph University

I have multiple MSc/PhD positions in my lab at University of Guelph with starting dates in September 2026 and January 2027.

The projects will focus on two primary directions:
1) developing cognitively-inspired computer vision systems for traffic scene analysis and modeling behaviors of drivers and pedestrians;
2) driving simulator research (including human data collection and improving simulator fidelity).

This is a great opportunity to contribute to multidisciplinary research at the intersection of computer vision, robotics, and AI with rich potential for real-world applications! To learn more about my research visit https://lnkd.in/eAfgUTkk

Successful candidates should have:
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- strong Python programming skills.
- desire to learn, passion for research, and interest in exploring new problems.

Background (e.g. courses, work/research experience, personal projects) in any of the areas listed below will be an asset:
- computer vision;
- cognitive science;
- data analysis (e.g. with pandas or R);
- graphics/Unity;
