Multiple fully-funded Ph.D positions in Electrical & Computer Engineering AI

Multiple fully-funded Ph.D positions in my group at the ECE/CS department of the University of Utah for Spring 2026 to work on AI-assisted Electronic Design Automation. Ideal candidates are those with a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in EE/CS/CE.

Eligibility: The applicant must already be located in the U.S.

We are particularly seeking candidates with a solid background in these areas:
1. AI/ML and solid experience in DNN, CNN, RNN, GNN, RL, and data analysis.
2. Large Language Model (LLM), image processing, and data retrieval

Experience in analog circuit design, digital circuit design, and System-on-Chip (SoC) design is a plus.
