MS Opportunity in Plant genomics and molecular research.

ChakrabartiLab is looking for motivated hard-working MS students in thesis track, who is interested in carrying out plant genomics and molecular research. We can take student through the UTRGV Biology or BCMB MS programs. The student will have the opportunity to select a project focusing either on molecular regulation of abiotic stresses, primarily drought and heat response or on molecular regulation of biotic stress. We study all levels of molecular response, ranging from transcriptional, post-transcriptional, and translational to epigenetic regulation. There will be ample opportunities to published peer-reviewed papers and present research in conferences.
