Fully Funded PhD in Chemical Engineering - Energy Storage Materials & Advanced Battery Technologies -University of Wyoming-Spring/Summer/Fall 2027

Dr. Ahn and her colleagues is recruiting graduate students to join our research group (PhD program in Chemical Engineering at the University of Wyoming)

Research Focus:
Energy storage materials and advanced battery technologies

Research Activities:
(1) Chemical synthesis and engineering of electrode and electrolyte materials
(2) Operando X-ray scattering, X-ray imaging, and microscopy using internal and/or synchrotron-based user facilities
(3) Battery cell fabrication and electrochemical characterization
(4) AI/ML approaches for data analysis

We welcome applicants with backgrounds in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.

Start Dates: January, May, and August 2027
