The new Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences within the College of Science and Mathematics at Kennesaw State University (KSU) is launching in Fall 2027! KSU is an R2 university in northwest metro-Atlanta, Georgia.
This program prepares the next generation of biomedical innovators to meet the needs of the rapidly evolving biomedical, clinical, and regulatory workforce. It integrates rigorous scientific training with real-world experience to develop highly skilled, workforce-ready leaders.
Program Snapshot:
• Duration: 60-credit, 4-year program
• Applications Open: Fall 2026
• Funding: Selected students will be eligible for a 12-month, $32,000 Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA)

• Drug discovery and development
• Disease modeling and molecular diagnostics
