Software Engineer

You will:

• Develop C++ algorithms to process and interpret lidar, radar, and camera sensor data
• Design and implement efficient processing pipelines for large-scale streaming sensor data
• Collaborate with Perception and Planning teams to understand and define data needs
• Design and develop scalable APIs to make sensor data available to downstream consumers
• Support the deployment, testing, and validation of machine learning models
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of system evaluation tools and processes

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field of study and 5 years of progressive,  post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineering-related occupation.
• Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field of study and 3 years of experience in the  job offered or in a Software Engineering-related occupation. 
• Position requires 3 years of experience in the following:                       

• • C++ algorithm development for sensor data processing (lidar, radar, and camera)
  • Pipeline design and processing for large-scale streaming sensor data
  • Scalable API design and development for downstream consumers
  •  Machine learning model deployment, testing, and validation
  • Data needs definition for perception and planning teams

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Salary Range $250,000.00 - $263,000 USD   Various Worksites. Fully remote, telecommuting position.   #LI-DNI
