Strategic Finance & Analytics Intern (MBA)

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join:

Airbnb is seeking MBA students to join the Finance organization as Strategic Finance & Analytics Interns for our 2027 Summer Intern Program from May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027.

At Airbnb, we believe finance is about more than numbers. Our Strategic Finance & Analytics (SFA) team sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and the business, partnering directly with leaders to decide where Airbnb invests, how we grow, and what we do next. We expect every member of the team to bring a CFO mindset to budget management, producing actionable insights, owning our performance story, and supporting day-to-day execution.

We are looking for interns who are eager to learn, grow, and sharpen their strategic and analytical skills alongside leaders across Finance. While a return offer is never guaranteed, we have a track record of bringing exceptional summer interns back as full-time employees after graduation.

The Difference You Will Make:

You’ll be integrated into a team where you’ll contribute to challenging projects. Your manager, team, and our incredible employee community will strive to be superhosts to you during the summer. We provide the support, mentorship, fun, and real world experience needed to accelerate your learning and make a real impact on our product, as Airbnb revolutionizes connection, belonging, and travel. You can expect to:

• Analyze complex business problems and issues using data to provide insight to decision-makers
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns based on business data and market knowledge
• Construct and present forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to stakeholders and leaders
• Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.

The exact project you work on during your internship will be dependent on the team you are placed in. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the work during the interview process.

• Team up with colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
• Communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights.
• Seek and offer feedback in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
