Business Lead

About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

As the Business Lead, you will be commercially responsible for the success of a new product at Ramp. The mandate is to do whatever it takes to grow the business. You will be expected to identify and resolve internal and external bottlenecks, often with limited guidance and support. You will set the strategy, prove out new bets, and influence how hundreds of go‑to‑market teammates sell and support the product. It’s an opportunity to run a “business within the business” at a meaningful scale while working directly with Ramp’s senior leadership.

What You'll Do

• Set the strategy: Define the target customer, value proposition, pricing, packaging, and GTM approach.

• Own the plan and results: Set goals, measure progress, and take action when the things are off track.

• Drive cross-functional execution: Align stakeholders from different teams around clear priorities and goals.

• Own feedback loops: Work with customers and turn feedback into product and go-to-market changes.

• Build for scale: Identify resource needs, create repeatable processes, and transition mature work to the appropriate long-term teams.

What You Need

• 5–10+ years in highly analytical, business‑driving roles

• A self-starter who will run through walls to get things done
