About the role
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
We are hiring a Commercial Account Executive - Acquisition to win new customers across the Benelux. This is a high-velocity, full-cycle sales role focused on new logo acquisition: you will own a territory of commercial prospects in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, build pipeline from the ground up, and close the first deals that bring Snowflake's AI Data Cloud into some of the region's most innovative and fast-growing companies. You will open conversations with data, engineering, and business leaders, uncover where Snowflake can make a difference, and land customers who will grow with us for years to come.
AS A COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - ACQUISITION AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
Own the full sales cycle for a territory of commercial prospects across the Benelux, from prospecting and pipeline generation through negotiation and close
Build and execute a territory plan that prioritises the highest-potential accounts and aligns outbound activity with Snowflake's go-to-market strategy for the region
Generate pipeline through a disciplined mix of outbound prospecting, partnership with Sales Development Representatives, partners, and field marketing programs
Run the full sales cycle on expansion opportunities, from discovery and qualification through commercial negotiation and close
Partner with Solution Engineers to deliver demonstrations, workshops, and technical validations that accelerate adoption of new Snowflake capabilities
Manage a high volume of concurrent opportunities across different stages, maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual new business targets
OUR IDEAL COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - ACQUISITION WILL HAVE:
3+ years of experience in a closing sales role in B2B technology, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding new business quota
Demonstrated success winning new logos, including building pipeline through outbound prospecting
Experience selling into mid-market or commercial accounts, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities and shorter deal cycles
Strong discovery and qualification skills, with the ability to identify business pain and connect it to a technical platform value proposition
Comfort presenting to technical and business audiences, including CTOs, Heads of Data, and VPs of Engineering
Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) is required
Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or equivalent)
Experience using AI tools to research accounts, personalise outreach, and work more efficiently
BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Fluency in French, to support prospects in Belgium and Luxembourg
Experience selling cloud data, analytics, or AI platform solutions in the Benelux market
Familiarity with consumption-based pricing models and how to position them to new customers
An established network within the Dutch and Belgian technology and business ecosystem
Experience building a territory or market from an early stage in a high-growth environment
Familiarity with Snowflake's platform or competitive landscape (Databricks, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Microsoft Fabric)
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
