Enterprise Account Executive (Telco)

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Snowflake
Snowflake is the world's leading AI Data Cloud company, powering the future of data and artificial intelligence. Our mission is to mobilize the world's data — breaking down silos and enabling every organization to unify, govern, and unlock the full value of their data at scale. Built on a single, fully managed platform that is Easy, Connected, and Trusted, Snowflake empowers enterprises to run all of their data, AI, and application workloads — from advanced analytics and machine learning to generative AI and agentic applications — without moving data out of a secure, governed environment.
With thousands of customers across every major industry worldwide and a consumption-based model that scales with value delivered, Snowflake is one of the fastest-growing enterprise platforms in the cloud era. We believe that there is no AI strategy without a data strategy — and we are building the platform that makes both possible. Join us at the intersection of data and AI as we define the next generation of enterprise intelligence.

Account Executive Team
The Account Executive team works closely with internal cross-functional teams and partners to deliver Snowflake's value to customers and serve as trusted advisors on long-term data and AI strategy. The Korea sales organization operates across four industry-aligned teams to drive deep vertical expertise and customer intimacy. As part of our continued growth in Korea, we are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to own and accelerate Snowflake's business across major telecommunications accounts — one of the most data-intensive and strategically important verticals in the market.

The Impact You Will Make

• Drive data and AI transformation for Korea's leading telcos: Lead Snowflake's go-to-market strategy across enterprise telecommunications accounts, enabling customers to harness the power of the AI Data Cloud for network optimization, customer 360, 5G data monetization, fraud detection, and AI-driven operations.

• Become a Snowflake expert: Conduct discovery calls, deliver customized demos, and present tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of the telecommunications industry — from massive-scale data management to real-time AI inference.

• Be the trusted advisor: Deeply understand each customer's business priorities, digital transformation roadmap, and competitive landscape to position Snowflake as a strategic platform partner — not just a vendor.

• Drive full-lifecycle sales execution: Own pipeline generation, opportunity progression, and deal closure across your accounts — landing new use cases, expanding existing deployments, and deepening platform adoption across business units.

• Build and execute strategic account plans: Develop comprehensive account strategies with targeted stakeholder mapping, competitive positioning, and quarterly/annual revenue targets. Proactively identify whitespace, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.

• Cultivate deep executive relationships: Build and sustain trusted relationships with CxOs, CTOs, CDOs, IT executives, and Line-of-Business leaders to drive strategic alignment and accelerate enterprise-wide adoption.

• Navigate regulatory and compliance requirements: Understand and address the data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements specific to the telecommunications industry, positioning Snowflake's built-in security and governance capabilities as a competitive differentiator.

• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration: Lead engagement across Snowflake's internal teams — including Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product, Marketing, Partners, Legal, and Finance — to deliver a seamless and unified customer experience.

Who You Are

• 5–7+ years of quota-carrying field sales experience in enterprise software, cloud platforms, or data/AI solutions, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Deep understanding of the telecommunications industry and its technology stack — including BSS (billing systems, CRM, subscriber management, revenue assurance, partner management) and OSS (network management, fault management, service assurance, performance monitoring), as well as broader industry dynamics such as 5G, IoT, network modernization, and data monetization.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles — from initial engagement to negotiation and close — with experience selling into large telecommunications / communications service provider accounts.

• Existing key relationships and a strong network within the Korean telecommunications ecosystem — including carrier executives, IT/data leadership, and ecosystem partners — are a significant advantage.

• Experience navigating the regulatory and compliance landscape of the telecommunications industry is preferred.

Data & AI Business Acumen

• Demonstrated experience selling data, analytics, cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), AI/ML, or data platform solutions with a strong understanding of how these technologies create business value in the telco context.

• A track record of leading data-driven and AI-driven sales motions — helping customers build and execute their data and AI strategies, and translating technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes (e.g., customer experience improvement, network efficiency, revenue growth, cost optimization).

• Familiarity with modern data architecture concepts — including data warehousing, data lakes, data lakehouses, real-time analytics, machine learning operationalization, and generative AI / agentic AI use cases relevant to telecommunications.

Growth Mindset & Customer Obsession

• A genuinely positive and growth-oriented mindset — energized by challenges, proactive in seeking new opportunities, and resilient in the face of setbacks. You see obstacles as stepping stones and are constantly looking for ways to learn, improve, and raise the bar.

• Customer-obsessed at your core — you start with the customer's problem, not your product. You are passionate about understanding what matters most to your customers, advocating for their success, and building relationships that are grounded in trust and long-term value creation.

• Self-driven with a bias for action — you don't wait for direction. You take ownership of your account strategy, pipeline, and results while maintaining operational rigor and CRM excellence.

Teamwork, Trust & Humble Leadership

• A natural team leader who inspires through trust, humility, and collaboration — not through authority alone. You believe the best outcomes come from rallying diverse perspectives and empowering others to do their best work.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional account teams — bringing together Sales Engineering, Services, Product, Partners, and other stakeholders — with a spirit of mutual respect and shared accountability.

• A One Team mindset — you celebrate collective wins, share credit generously, support your colleagues proactively, and create an environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute.

• Strong communication and presentation skills — with the ability to engage authentically with audiences ranging from technical architects to C-suite executives, in both Korean and English.

Additional Qualifications

• Expertise in value-based selling — accurately diagnosing customer challenges, mapping solutions to business outcomes, and articulating quantifiable ROI to senior stakeholders.

• A passion for data and AI technology — a continuous learner who stays ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.

• Familiarity with industry-specific platforms and ecosystems — including telco cloud vendors, system integrators, and ISVs that serve the telecommunications space — is a plus.

• Fluency in Korean (native or business-level) and English (professional proficiency) is required to operate effectively across domestic and global teams.

Korea Benefits (Highlights)

• Retirement Pension (DC plan)

• RSU (Restricted Stock Units)

• Mobile data and personal fitness expense support

• Annual health check-up for employee and one dependent

• Paid Parental Leave

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
