Samuel Dowaana Mensah is a Ghanaian composer, choral director, and researcher based in Tamale. Founder of the Tamale Youth Choir, he blends African traditions with modern composition. He won the 2024 Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Composers Competition and is pursuing an MPhil in Music Theory and Composition, with a focus on African music and ethnomusicology
